Resort and Park Area Information

Norway Resort has a beautiful pine tree shaded park. There are picnic tables, charcoal barbecue grills, playground equipment, horseshoes and more! The early spring is a great time to hunt for Morals and other mushrooms.

Our park area is great for family reunions, partys, any kind of gathering you might want to have.

Alpena has some of the best hunting acreage in the area with open hunting on over 70,000 acres of land. There are large numbers of white tailed deer, wild turkey, ruffed grouse, ducks, rabbit and other small game for the hunting enthusiast.

Groomed snowmobile trails around the area make winter at Norway Resort an exciting time.

A party store is conveniently located on the grounds with groceries, beer/wine, package liquor, live bait and tackle. Fishing and hunting licences are also available.
